Harvey, known as "Pepper" by family and friends, was born on November 11, 1931 in Addis LA and passed away on February 23, 2014. He was a resident of Shreveport and worked in finance management. Before joining the Army and serving in Okinawa he attended Merryhill Seminary. He was a member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church where he served as Eucharistic minister and taught religion classes for many years. He was an avid reader and loved vacationing with his family especially camping at Shady Lake, AR. He spent his last 2½ years at Azalea Estates where he thrived under the compassionate care of the staff and the social activities with the other residents. He was on the Mardi Gras Krewe, the beanbag baseball team and was the 2014 Sweetheart. His favorite was the dances, where he danced to every song as long as he had a partner.

Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Angela Bergeron Goins, Pamela Bergeron Roberts and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Hunter, Randel and Morgan Roberts, Cohen and Samantha Fann; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Bert Bergeron and wife, Althea; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Roberts, Morgan Roberts, Troy Bergeron, Gary Bergeron, Chris Bergeron, Brad Morgan and David Morgan.

The family expresses a special thank you to Dr. Craig Miller, Azalea Estates for enriching his final years, and Letosha of Home Instead for taking such good care of our daddy.
