Johnnie Graham Obituary
Celebration of life services for Johnnie "Mrs. Johnnie" Louise McComb Graham, 88, will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at First Baptist Church Converse with Dr. Leland Tim Patrick and Reverend Lon Almeida officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Converse Cemetery, Converse under the direction of Rose-Neath's Funeral Home in Mansfield.
The family would like to welcome guests for visitation at Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel on Friday, August 7, 2015, from the hours of 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
Mrs. Graham was born November 2, 1926, in Vidor, TX to the late John Ivey and Annie Edna Wagner McComb and was called to her Heavenly home July 31, 2015 in New Mexico. Mrs. Johnnie was the secretary for 38 years at Converse School. Mrs. Johnnie was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. One of the many highlights of her life was her grandchildren. She loved to make divinity and cook for family and friends.
Mrs. Graham is preceded in death by her husband Robert Taylor Graham, Sr.; parents; sisters Edna Marie McComb Nash and Betty Jo McComb Harmon; daughter-in-law Amy Hodges Graham.
Left to cherish the beautiful memories of Mrs. Graham will be her three sons, Robert Taylor Graham, Jr. and wife Sharon, Michael McComb Graham and Lloyd Dean Graham; and four grandchildren Laura Graham, Ashley Graham Moreland and husband Brent, Christopher Graham, and Rebecca Graham; along with a number of extended family members and many wonderful friends.
Honoring the life of Mrs. Johnnie as pallbearers will be Lynn Burkett, Christopher Graham, Brent Moreland, Billy Pickett, Ronny Richardson, and Terrell Snelling.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org; 225 N. Michigan Ave, FL 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
