You will always be my Hero, Role Model, and Father. Thanks for being the man you were. Your life reflected your faith and I couldn't have asked for a better father. I found out in my thirties that I was a surprise, not planned child. This was a surprise to me, due to my upbringing I had NO idea. Never felt like a mistake and was always loved as much as any child could be loved. Remember in High School my dad was older then all of my other class mates. Never bothered me one bit because I also knew my dad was the most active Dad of anybody I knew. There were only a few Dads at Football practice and my Dads was the MOST common one to see there. My Dad was always at the Games, track meets, and any other event I was in. I have countless GREAT memories of my Dad. He was Always there when I needed him. Thank you God for my Dad, my Hero, and my Role Model. Will always love you and miss you but I know you're in a better place.

Pat and Family,
Owen was a great man and set a true Christian example for so many. He certainly had a positive influence on my life and for that I am ever thankful.
Blessings and peace to all the family, and may the grace of our Lord Jesus be sufficient to meet all your needs at this time of sadness at his passing, but celebration that he is resting in the arms of God..

The Final Salute

This Hand Salute is the last that we shall render to Owen Dickson Adams our Brother-in-Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Owen. To Owen it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during WW-II while serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Owen, we commend you for your honorable service. You are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country. You were a true friend. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
