SIDNEY — Louise Joslin Yoho, 84, 221 Hall Ave. Sidney, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at 8:04 a.m. at Fair Haven County Home.
She was born on Dec. 24, 1929, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joslin and Louise (Oartel) Stockstill.
On Dec. 20, 1948, she married Delbert Yoho, who survives along with three daughters, Susan Evilsizor, of Huber Heights, Ohio, Peggy Wiggins, of Lima, Ohio, and Linda Sappington of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Stanley Yoho, of Missouri; and one sister-in-law, Patricia Montgomery, of Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Preceding her in death was one daughter, Judy Mensch and two brothers, John and James Stockstill.
Louise was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers Society and the Shelby County Retired Teachers Association. She taught at Emerson Elementary School and retired in 1990 after 25 years of service. She was also a life member of the Sidney First United Methodist Church.
In keeping with Mrs. Yoho's wishes her body was donated to the OSU Division of Anatomy.
Funeral services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are in the care of Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, Ohio.
