Reed, A. Wavoline - Lockington  
LOCKINGTON — A. Wavolene Reed, 85, of Lockington, died at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at Wilson Hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1928, in Meigs County to the late Floyd C. and Edna E. (Bowen) Bolton. She married Robert E. Reed Sr. June 28, 1947 in Piqua; he preceded her in death April 16, 2004. Survivors include a son, Robert E. Reed Jr., of Sidney; a daughter Rosemary (Stephen) Knouff, of Sidney; seven grandchildren, Ashley (Ross) Reed-Kimble, Patrick Reed, Angela (Dan) Mayse, Todd (Dian) Carey, Ryan (Natalie) Carey, Jennifer (Brian) Swift, Joel (Susan) Knouff; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Veronica E. Reed, four brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Reed was a 1946 graduate of Piqua Central High School and along with her husband, founded and operated Reed's Office Machines until their retirement in 1989. She enjoyed her Methodist faith all of her life and was active in the churches she was associated with as a Sunday School teacher, and volunteer. She enjoyed her family and many friends. She will be missed by her loving family. A service to honor her life will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, Piqua, with the Rev. Dale A. Ritts and Sister Rosie Coughlin co-officiating. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Russell, Kenneth - Sidney  
SIDNEY — Kenneth L. Russell, 73, of 1368 Sixth Ave. Sidney, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at the Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 14, 1941, in Newcomb, Tennessee, the son of the late Clarence and Kathryn (Hicks) Russell. On Oct. 29, 1988, he married Donna Fogt, who survives along with one son, Bobby R. Russell, of Covington; three granddaughters; two great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Roy (Wanda) Gilburth, of Richmond, Kentucky. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Thomas, and one daughter, Jean (Russell) Poore. Kenneth was a Vietnam Navy veteran from 1962 to 1968 and was a member of the Sidney American Legion Post No. 217 and the AMVETS Post No. 1986, where he also served as a trustee. Kenneth was a supervisor for Ross Aluminum, retiring in 2001 after 24 years of service. He most recently worked for NAPA Auto Parts. Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Cromes Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, with the Rev. Michael Althauser officiating. Burial with full military honors provided by Sidney American Legion Post No. 217 will be at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. The family suggest that memorials may be made to the AMVETS Post No. 1986 , 1319 Fourth Ave. Sidney, OH 45365, in memory of Kenneth Russell. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
