VERSAILLES — Paul Albert Henry, age 88, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 3:23 p.m. at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1926, in Darke County, Ohio, the son of the late Harry and Mary (Didier) Henry.
He was a farmer and worked for 10 years at Monarch Machine in Sidney; he was also a state inspector and worked various other jobs. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his children and spouses, Donna and James DeMange, of Versailles, Jane and Donald Evers, of North Star, and Alan and Jeanie Henry, of Versailles; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Bertha Bryan, of Piqua, Ohio; brother, Alfred Henry, of Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Irene (Rinderle) Henry, whom he married June 28, 1947; second wife, Ethelyn (Barnes) Henry; daughter, Connie Henry; great-granddaughter: Rachel I. Henry; sisters, Josephine Saintignon, Magdeline Kley, Dorothy Zimmerman, Elizabeth Couchot and Florence Bashore; and brothers: Louis Henry, James Henry, John Henry and Joseph Henry.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church 14 E. Wood St., Versailles, Ohio, with the Rev. Jim Simons Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday March 18, 2014, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio.
