Anita P. Heinfeld

SIDNEY - Anita P. Heinfeld, 80, of 713 Taft St., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at 1:50 P.M. at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born on Aug. 1, 1932, in Shelby County, the daughter of the late Clarence and Frances (Gross) Mann. On May 29, 1950, she married Robert T. Heinfeld, who preceded her in death on April 2, 2007.
She is survived by two sons, Ted L. Heinfeld, of Minster, and David W. Heinfeld, of Sidney; four grandchildren, Zachary and Amber Heinfeld, Andrew Heinfeld, Taylor Heinfeld, Matthew Mikok; and four great-grandchildren, Carter, Owen, Leann and Christian. She is also survived by one sister, Geneva Wells, of Sidney and two sisters-in-law, Martha Hibner, of New Mexico, and Jeanie Davis, of Sidney.
Mrs.Heinfeld worked for many years as a receiving clerk in the catalog department for Sear's in Sidney and Piqua. Anita was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sidney Senior Citizens, she volunteered at the church Thrift Shop and helped sew quilts at her church .
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jonathan W. Schriber officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
The family respectfully request that memorials be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church in memory of Anita Heinfeld. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
