SIDNEY — Brian F. Ammon, 38, of Sidney, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, in his residence.

He was born in Piqua, on Aug. 3, 1977, to Jerry Ammon, of Troy, and the late Darlene (Free) Ammon. He married Sarah J. Pethtel on Oct. 23, 1998, in Sidney, and she survives.

Brian is also survived by two daughters, Olivia Ammon and Lydia Ammon, both of Sidney; stepparents, Dana and Sharron Paldino, of Piqua; stepmother, Tawana Ammon, of Troy; and a half sister, Joanna Paldino, of Texas. He was preceded in death by one sister, Jenny Ammon, and one half brother, Jerry Ammon.

Brian graduated from Piqua High School in 1996. He also attended Piqua JVS. He was a member of Snyder Road Church of God. Brian was a machinist at UTC Goodrich in Troy. He also worked for Sidney Tool and Die Co. in Sidney as a machinist for 20 years.

Brian love to build trucks and cars and tinker in the garage with his children. He also liked to go camping and have campfires in his back yard.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at 3 p.m., at Snyder Road Church of God, 636 E. Snyder Road, Piqua, with the Rev. Richard Keeran officiating.

Friends may call Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.
