SIDNEY - Dale Gene Musser, 58, of Sidney, passed away at 6:20 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born July 14, 1954, in Sidney, the son of the late Glenn and Dorothy (Jackson) Musser.
On March 16, 1987, he married Peggy Cotterman, who survives along with their three daughters, Julie Miller, and husband, Rick, of Wauseon, Midge Schultz, and husband, Paul, of Delta, and Faith Davis, of Sidney; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Marion Musser, and wife, Karen, and Tim Musser, and wife, Becky, both of Sidney.
Dale was preceded in death by one son, Wayde Cotterman.
Mr. Musser was a line leader for Energizer in Sidney, where he had worked for 32 years. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry and he had a great love for music. He was a self-taught drummer who played with many bands throughout his life, and even did so recently for Timmy G. and the Buckeye Bandits.
Dale's greatest love was his family. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, and took great pride in raising his great-grandson and BFF, Gage, alongside his loving wife. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, who all know he is now in heaven playing his drums for our Heavenly Father.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with the Rev. Dan Jackson officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice in memory of Dale Gene Musser. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
