Dean A. Greve (1965 - 2015)

WAPAKONETA — Dean A. Greve, 49, of Wapakoneta died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at his residence.

He was born on Oct. 4, 1965 in Lima, to Joseph B. and Theresa D. (Schaub) Greve. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in New Knoxville.

Survivors include a son, Braden Greve of Wapakoneta; 11 brothers and sisters, Janet (Glen) Foutz, Bob Greve, Kate (Tom) Naseman, Evelyn (Steve) Jurosic, Anne (Kent) Winegardner, Pat Greve, Jim (Karen) Greve, Marcia (Kent) VanFossin, Gene (Kathy) Greve, David (Teri) Greve, Sheila (Jeff) Wells; a sister-in-law, Connie Greve, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Joseph M. Greve.

Dean was a 1984 graduate of Botkins High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was an avid OSU and Dallas Cowboys Fan. He also enjoyed watching his son play sports and loved his family.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Rhine. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The Rev. Patrick Sloneker will be officiating. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Braden Greve Memorial Account at any Fifth Third Bank.
