SIDNEY - Evelyn Ilean Rose, 85, of 1419 Spruce Ave., passed away at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Fair Haven Nursing Home, Sidney.
She was born on Jan. 31, 1927, in Butler, Tenn., the daughter of the late Clarence and Rosa (Leonard) Dugger. On Aug. 23, 1946, she was married to Robert "Bob" Rose, who preceded her in death on March 16, 2003.
Ilean is survived by her four children, Randy Rose and wife, Jackie, of Sidney, Rick Rose and wife, Sheila, of Vandalia, Mary Addy and husband, Joe, and Mike Rose, all of Sidney; six grandchildren, Lori Cook, Mark Perrin, Ryan Stahler, Jamie Hardwick, Shane Hardwick and Matt Rose; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Douglas Dugger and wife, Lavelle, of Omaha, Neb., and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Curt Perrin, and one brother, Joe Dugger.
Ilean was a loving wife, mother and homemaker, who worked side by side with her husband on the family farm near Quincy. She always held a special place in her heart for the beautiful mountains of eastern Tennessee, where she lived for the first 14 years of her life, before moving to Ohio. There are still many family members there she dearly loved.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Barbara Staley officiating.
Arrangements are in the care of Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Quincy Fire and Emergency Dept., Fair Haven Nursing Home, or a charity of donor's choice in memory of Evelyn Ilean Rose.
