COVINGTON — Evelyn M. Kuether, age 76 of Covington, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at the Upper Valley Medical Center.

Evelyn was born in Philothea, Ohio, on Feb. 25, 1938, to the (late) Fred and Louise (Rosenbeck) Timmerman; attended St. Henry Schools; had previously worked for WPTW, Piqua; Buckeye, Coldwater; and was co-owner and accountant for the family farm; very active member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Covington being a member of the Ladies Sodality and past CCD instructor; past president and current member of AMVETS Post 66 Ladies Auxiliary, Covington where she held various offices; a member of the Grandma's Club; active with Dayton VA Volunteer Services; active with BINGO at the nursing homes and other charity work; and an avid book reader.

Preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Herb and Ralph Timmerman; and two sisters, Marie Weitzel and Dolores Timmerman.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald J. Kuether; son and daughter-in-law, Anton and Michelle Kuether, of Covington; daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Bob Tipton, of Minster; 11 grandchildren, Don and wife, Betsey Tipton, of St. Marys, Amber and husband, Travis Frock, of New Bremen, Brandy and husband, Eric Weitzel, of Montpellier, Ohio, Allen Tipton, of St. Marys, Joshua Tipton, of Minster, Jonathon Tipton, of Minster, Bernard, Matthew, Thomas, Elizabeth and James Kuether, of Covington; four great-grandchildren, Kasey Tipton, Anthony Frock, Aubree Frock and Alex Weitzel; two brothers, Clarence "Bud" Timmerman, of Coldwater, Alvin and wife, Rosie Timmerman, of Portland, Indiana; sister, Catherine and husband, Lawrence Wendel, of St. Henry; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Covington with the Rev. Gene Vonderhaar and the Rev. Ron Haft con-celebrating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Covington.

The family will receive friends 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.
