SIDNEY — Jacqueline L. Spradling, 63, of 704 Buckeye Ave., Sidney, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at 9:40 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 27, 1951, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late William L. Sr. and Ruby (Shields) Hudson. She was married to Ezzell "Butch" Spradling, who preceded her in death Jan. 25, 1978.
She is survived by two children, Jon Spradling (Stephanie) and Ja'Lessa Spradling, both of Sidney; three grandchildren, Kyla, Aarastin and Julius Spradling; two siblings, Sylvia Hudson, of Canoga Park, California, and William "Bill" Hudson Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas; and two nephews, Billy and Brad Hudson of Fort Worth, Texas.
She was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Jodi Hudson.
Mrs. Spradling worked for DP&L for more than 27 years. She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, where she was very involved, serving as secretary, singing in the church choir and missionary work.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014s at noon at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 606 Park St., Sidney, with the Rev. David D. Wynn officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Arrangements are in the care of Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney.
