ANNA — Jeffrey L. Mummey, of Anna, passed away Wednesday morning, June 21, 2017, in the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, after a short illness.

He was born, April 28, 1963, in Kenton, to David and Sandra (Jacobs) Mummey, who survive. Also surviving are two children, Virginia, of Huber Heights, and Ryan (Jamie), of Minster; four grandchildren; and two nephews. He is survived by one sister, Lisa (Keith) Schnelle, of Minster.

Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Fairlawn High School and attended Urbana College, where he majored in business management and was a member of the golf team. He was a dedicated fisherman at Lake Erie, where he spent summer weekends. Jeff was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay packers, a member of the Moose Lodge and loved to tell tales of his fishing exploits. He was an associate of Honda Manufacturing in Anna for more than 27 years.

He also enjoyed cooking, collecting anything fishing-related and teaching his grandchildren to fish.

A celebration of his life will be at a later time.
