John W. Rinehart

VERSAILLES, Ind. - John W. Rinehart, 59, of Versailles, Ind., passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Cincinnati Oct. 12, 1953, the son of James and Ella Schellenberger Rinehart. He married Linda Perry on Oct. 31, 1980, and she survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Amanda (Marcus) Roll, of Sidney, Ohio, Shannon (Rob) Goddard, and Becky Rinehart both of Versailles, Ind.; six grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Geraldine) Schibi, of Norwood; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rinehart was employed for 39 years as a machinist with C.W. Zumbiel at Hebron, Ky., retiring in June of 2012. He had played bass and drums for the band Cannonball Express. John was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles by the Rev. David Shivers. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the Hopewell Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
