Joyce K. Wilson, 71, of Sidney, was surrounded by family and friends to say goodbye.

She said goodbye to pain and suffering to join her friends and family members waiting for her in Heaven. God received this beautiful and talented angel, Sept. 19, 2013.

Joyce was born on May 29, 1942, in Sidney, the daughter of the late Lewis E. and Frances M. (Linniman) Cory. She married Billy R. Wilson Nov. 26, 1960, who preceded her in death.

Joyce is survived by her wonderful daughter and son-in-law, Sandi and Mark Shipman, and her amazing grandchildren, Zane Ray Shipman and Zoe LaChae Shipman; and her No. 1 son, Johnny R. Wilson. and his wife. Sandra K. Sutter, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brothers, Richard Cory and his wife, Joann, Phil Linniman and his wife, Jan, Gary Pellman and his wife, Audrey; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Janet Cox and Marsha Pellman, and one brother, Tim Pellman.

Joyce was a gifted and talented lady and retired from Wilson's Cake and Craft Shop, where she created amazing wedding cakes, candies and crafts. She was a member of the Rainbow Garden Club, American Legion Post 217 and Veterans of Foreign War Post 4239. Joyce was an inspiration to many and loved the life she lived.

A celeberation of life will be held Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with the Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating.

Her family will receive friends on Monday from noon until the hour of service.Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens.
