MONTEZUMA — Lela J. (Dix) (Bushnell) Peltier, age 82, of Montezuma, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.

She was born June 30, 1932, in Springfield to the late Glen Stephen Charles and Grace Evelyn (Porzell) Dix. On Jan. 31, 1975, she married Raphael L. Peltier, and he died in 2010.

She is survived by four children, Pamela Bushnell, of Miamisburg, Jim and Shauna Bushnell, of Piqua, Dennis and Jenny Bushnell, of Bowling Green, and Andrew and Cindy Bushnell, of Dayton; five stepchildren, Mike Peltier, of Texas, Craig and Betty Peltier, of Piqua, Jeff and Donna Peltier, of Piqua, Diane and Leonard Monnin, of Russia, and Peggy and Walt Kellems, of Florida; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ron and Darlene Dix, of Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Dorothy Seaman, Jeanne Harvey, Margaret Kolb and twin sister Lila Dix, and three brothers, Robert Dix, Russell Dix and Donald Dix.

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma, and was retired from Stanley Garage Doors, Covington.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Montezuma. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
