BOTKINS — Marie E. Dresher, 79, of Botkins, formerly of Celina and Knoxville, Tennessee, died 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta.

She was born April 28, 1935, in Sharpsburg, Ohio, the daughter of Edwin and Dorothy (Quinter) Dresher, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sisters, Susanna Heuker, Botkins, Barbara (George) Hellinger, Jackson, Georgia, and Bunny (Gil) Jones, Donaldsonville, Wisconsin; two sisters-in-law, Mary Margaret Dresher, Necedah, Wisconsin, and Pat Dresher, Chickasaw, Ohio; 38 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, John and William Dresher, a sister and brother-in-law, Lucy Ann (James) Monnier, a sister-in-law, Joann (Thieman) Dresher, and a brother-in-law, John Heuker.

Marie had worked at the Celina Manor. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins. Her hobbies included reading and traveling.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, with the Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. Marys Cemetery, Celina.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Friday at the church.
