VERSAILLES — Mark M. Kremer, age 58, of Versailles, Ohio, died at 9:33 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at his residence.

He was born March 12, 1958, in Greenville to the late Sebastian and Martha (Benanzer) Kremer. On Oct. 27, 1979, he married Doris Dirksen at St. Francis Catholic Church, Cranberry Prairie, Ohio, and she survives in Versailles.

He is also survived by children, Michelle and Eric Cotterman, of Troy, Paul and Emily Kremer, of North Star, Joyce and Bradley Koopman, of Versailles, Luke Kremer, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Rachel Kremer, of Versailles; six grandchildren, Levi, Asher, Marian, Noah, Camille and Ava.

Mark is also survived by brothers and sisters, Eileen and Carl Hess, Caledonia, Vivian and Gerald Wyen, Tipp City, Bonita Seger, Greenville, Richard Kremer, Versailles, and Diana and Ken Bohman, Versailles; and in-laws, Gene Brunswick, Coldwater, Charles Broering, Versailles, Janet and Leon Ruhenkamp, Versailles, Bernice and Henry Albers, Anna, Elaine and Dennis Bruns, New Bremen, Delbert and Janice Dirksen, Versailles, Mary and Greg Barhorst, Anna, Marilyn and Patrick Bergman, Versailles, Gabriel and Shirley Dirksen, Maria Stein, and Rose and Thomas Wendeln, Minster.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Jeanette Brunswick and Alice Broering, and brother-in-law Ralph Seger.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown and the Versailles K of C. He was a 1975 graduate of Versailles High School, a lifelong farmer and worked for Versailles Schools. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles with the Rev. James Simon celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Frenchtown.

Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia, on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Cancer Association and State of the Heart Hospice.
