SIDNEY — Mildred E. (Schroer) Gruebmeyer, 93, of 313 Doering St., Sidney, passed away early in the morning on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at the Pavilion Nursing Home in Sidney.

Mildred was born May 3, 1922, to the late Selma (Schrolucke) and Gustave Schroer. On Nov. 16, 1947, she married Edward A. Gruebmeyer, and he preceded her in death in 2009.

Mildred is survived by sisters, Edith Maurer, of St. Marys, Irene Thompson, of Sidney, Lois Paulat, of St.Paul, Minnesota; a daughter, Cynthia Minton, of Columbus; grandchildren, Timarie (Minton) and Vince Francis, Jennifer (Minton) and Ryan Bennett, Christina (Minton) Chaney; great-grandchildren, Emilee Chaney, Libby Chaney, Hollister Bennett, Berkeley Bennett and Stanley Francis.

Mildred worked at the telephone company and for the Sidney City Schools as a cook, from which she retired. She and Edward attended the Trinity Church of the Brethern in Sidney.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 23, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Pastor Brent Driver officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wilson Memorial Hospice in Mildred's memory.
