SIDNEY — Olive M. Clark, 93, of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at 10:30 p.m. at Fair Haven Shelby County Home.

She was born on Nov. 19, 1921, in Maplewood, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry and Mabel (Linker) Clinehens. On Aug. 18, 1946, she married Harry L. Clark who preceded her in death April 18, 1975.

Olive is survived by one daughter, Kay and husband, James "Bill" Rickey of Sidney; two grandchildren, Joe (Kelly Wright) Rickey and Jason (Shelby) Rickey; two sisters, Marveline Clark, of Findlay, and Mrs. Kenneth (Beverly) Like, of Napoleon; two brothers, Bernard (Phyllis) Clinehens, of Maplewood, and Gerald (Gertrude) Clinehens, of Quincy; sister-in-law, Kate Clark, of Maplewood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Rosemary Pence.

Mrs. Clark worked as a registered nurse for 52 years and retired at age 72 from the former Piqua Memorial Medical Center. She was a member of Maplewood Grange since 1937, Maplewood United Methodist Church, American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries, Democratic Women, and Red Hats. She was an avid sports fan and card player, and a very active member at the Senior Center.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, with Pastor Bill Halter officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Maplewood United Methodist Church in memory of Olive M. Clark.
