Robert L. "Bob" Brautigam

SIDNEY — Robert L. "Bob" Brautigam, 79, of 2901 Fair Road, Sidney, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, at 11:04 p.m. at Fair Haven.

He was born April 24, 1936, in Sidney, the son of the late Lowell and Gleneva (Duckworth) Brautigam. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pamela (King) Brautigam.

He is survived by two daughters, Ann (Terry Gallagher) Giancola, of Pinehurst, North Carolina, and Jana (Brian) Bolton, of Sidney; a stepson, Brett Sullenburger, of Sidney; five grandchildren, Derek Giancola, Raleigh, North Carolina, Bethany Bolton, Sidney, Leesha Bolton, Columbus, Ohio, Wesley Bolton, Sidney, and Sean Sullenburger, Sidney; and a sister, Valera Slonkosky, of Sidney.

Bob was a 1955 graduate of Fairlawn High School. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. He worked on the family farm with his father, until he took over as owner/operator and called it An-Ja Farms. Bob became a self-employed semi-tractor truck operator and traveled throughout the United States with Weaver Eggs.

He enjoyed playing cards, landscaping and his yard. He loved sports and following the Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes.

Bob loved spending time with friends, family and his grandchildren. He will be missed by them!

In accordance with Robert's wishes, his body was donated to Wright State University for medical research and education.

A Memorial will be held for his Loving family.
