SIDNEY — Robert Harold Lemaster, 85, of Sidney, died 1:41 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, with his family at his side.

He was born Aug. 20, 1931, in Painstville, Kentucky, the son of Roy & Alice (Bays) Lemaster, who preceded him in death. On June 19, 1954, he married Anna L. Parrett, and she survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Sue (James) Pittman, Bradenton, Florida, and Diana Lynn (Michael) Brideweser, Jackson Center, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tina Marie (Kevin) Jones, Michael Allan Brideweser, Jr. and Christopher Allan Brideweser; five great-grandchildren, Charles Jesse Singer, Chelsea A. Brideweser, Michael A. Brideweser III, Andrew Christopher Brideweser and Seth Michael Brideweser; a great-great-granddaughter, Kora Elizabeth Brideweser; and two sisters, Mazie Howard, Fort Myers, Florida, and Shelva Dean Hamilton, Painstville, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Paul Lemaster, Opal Lemaster, Mitchell Bays, James Lemaster and Eva Jean Hayden.

Robert worked as a truck driver and received the "Million Miles Safe Driving Award" from Plastipak, Jackson Center. He attended the Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed the country and traveling, and loved animals and his pets.

In accordance with his wishes, there are no services planned.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the , Breast Cancer Awareness, or MS Research.
