CROSSVILLE, Tenn. — Ronald Eugene Earhart, 76, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on Feb. 19, 2015, at NHC Healthcare in Sparta, Tennessee, and was laid to rest Feb. 24, 2015, in Dripping Springs Cemetery.

Ron was born on July 16, 1938, in Troy, to the late Paul and Jane Lowry Earhart. He grew up in Miami County and graduated from Newton High School in Pleasant Hill.

He served two years in the United States Navy Seabees and worked as a heavy equipment operator, farmer and auctioneer.

Ron is survived by his sons, Barry (Verdie), Rick, Donald (Teresa), David (Marsha), Wesley and Josh; daughter Amanda; grandchildren, Christina, Jessica, Nathaniel, Alicia, Hanna, Benjamin, Brett, Nicole, Todd and Phoenix; several great-grandchildren; brother, Craig Earhart, of Vandalia; and sisters, Karen (Ed) McMaken, of Piqua, Jeanne (Jim) Elsass, of Sidney, and Cheryl Earhart, of Columbus.

Arrangements were handled by Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.
