TIPP CITY — Ronnie C. Steinbrugge, age 64, of Tipp City, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 26, 2014.

He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on Feb. 27, 1950, the son of Dale and Dora (Mason) Steinbrugge.

He was an Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He was a member of the AMVETS and VFW and served as a board member for the planning of the Vietnam Veterans Park in Dayton. He has been employed at Emerson Manufacturing in Sidney for more than 30 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Joyce Steinbrugge; his mother, Dora; daughter, Jodie; stepdaughter, Angie; three brothers, Lonnie (Sylvia), Dana (Debbie) and Steve; and his two granddaughters whom he adored Ciara and Dixie.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Drive, Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Livingston officiating. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ronnie's name to the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Park, 627 Edwin C. Moses Blvd. 4th Floor, East Medical Plaza, Dayton, OH 45417.
