SIDNEY — Ruth G. "Jenny" Trisler, age 91, of Sidney, passed away peacefully on Feb. 29, 2016, at Dorothy Love Retirement Center, Sidney.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1924, in Sidney, to the late Chester and Phyllis (Purk) Gibbs. On Dec. 24, 1945, she married Clarence Trisler, who preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2003.

Jenny is survived by children, Margie and husband, James Daniel, of Springboro, Ohio, Becky and husband, John Kenton, of Sidney, Marilyn and husband, Donald Lamb, of Sterling Heights, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Kathy Trisler, of Tipp City,Ohio; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son, Harold Trisler and her siblings.

Jenny loved to crochet and spend time reading. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Sidney, a liftetime member of the Connection Point Church of God in Sidney, and a volunteer in the gift shop at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was retired from Copeland Corporation after many years of service.

Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral services will be held at noon at the funeral home with Pastor Alan Leach officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the , Miami Valley Chapter, 3797 Summit Glen Dr., Suite G100, Dayton, OH 45449 in Ruth's memory.
