SIDNEY — Willis Lee "Bill" Sollmann, 83, of Sidney, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at 5:08 a.m. at his residence.

He was born on Aug. 23, 1932, in Anna, Ohio, the son of the late Marvin L. and Francis (McCullough) Sollmann. In 1982 he married Judy Elsass Sollmann, who preceded him in death May 16, 2003.

Bill was survived by four daughters, Cindy Borland, Bonnie (Mike) Goffena, Judy (Pike) Hull, and Mary (Bill) Theis, all of Sidney; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Kathryn Worthington.

Bill was the owner of Export Transportation Company. He was a hard working, driven man, who would do anything for his family. Bill loved his home, and enjoyed 4-wheeling in his later years. He was a competitive trick skier and owner of the former Bill's Marina in Sidney.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with the Rev. James Oates officiating. Burial will be at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders.

The family will receive friends on Friday, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
