SIDNEY — Sandra Gresham, 67, of 2977 W. Mason Road, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1946, in Sterns, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Beecher and Oma (Young) Coffey.
On Dec. 1, 1972, she was married to Richard Gresham, who survives along with one daughter, Jeannette (Frederick) Shellenberg Jr., of Houston, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Gresham, of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kiaya, Ciaran and Aiden Shellenberg, all three of Houston, Ohio; six brothers, Cleatus (Juanita) Coffey, Silas (Christine) Coffey, Gary (Charlotte) Coffey, Larry (Mildred) Coffey, James (Isabell) Coffey, and Curtis (Sherry) Coffey, all six of Stearns, Ky.; three sisters, Mildred Bray, Margaret Welsh, and Nina (Duane) Hatfield, all three of Sidney; 22 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by one brother, Nixon Coffey, and one sister, Myrtal Coffey.
Mrs. Gresham was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed knitting, painting crocheting and baking. Most of all she loved playing with her grandchildren and being with her family.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with Pastor Earnie Jones officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco, Ohio.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
