SIDNEY — Roxane Mathison, 53, of Sidney, Ohio, died at 6:25 a.m. Friday June 13, 2014, at her residence.
She was born May 27, 1961, in Piqua to the late Robert C. and Helen (Knear) Mayberry. She married Melvin Mathison August 2006 in Lima; and he survives.
Other survivors include five children, Angela (Fred) Seipel, of Sidney, Ohio, Randy Shannon, of Columbus, Ohio, Stacie (Jim) Hawley, of Russells Point, Ohio, Matthew Mathison, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Samantha Faulder of Lakeview, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters, Paul (Donna) Mayberry, of St. Marys, Ohio, Helen Lane, of Georgia, George (Sue) Mayberry, of Florida, Jim (Linda) Mayberry, of Troy, Ohio, Pam Lambert, of Fletcher, Ohio, Gene Mayberry, of Lockington, Ohio, Steve (Theresa) Mayberry, Chuck Mayberry, Vickie (Joe) Wicheit, all of Piqua, Ohio, and Linda Duban, of Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Mayberry.
Mrs. Mathison tenderly cared for people as a nurses aide for many years and then prided herself maintaining the Plastipak building in Jackson Center. She enjoyed NASCAR, was an excellent seamstress and an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.7
A service to honor her life will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday June 21, 2014, at Miami Memorial Park, Covington with the Rev. Samuel McCoy officiating.
Arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, Piqua, Ohio.
