PIQUA — Linda S. Williams, 68, of Piqua, died at Hospice of Dayton, on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 10:50 p.m.
She was born in Piqua on April 30, 1946, to the late Girard A. and Barbara A. (Jenkins) Didot. On June 10, 1967, she married John C. Williams. He preceded her in death in December 2009.
Linda is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Matthew Bohn, of Xenia; one brother, Mike Didot, of Piqua; and two granddaughters, Sylvia and Jocelyn Bohn, of Xenia. She was preceded in death by one son, Scott Williams.
Linda graduated from Piqua Catholic High School in 1964. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Troy. She held management positions at Piqua and Sidney Curves. Linda loved to garden and plant flowers. She had an interest in vintage cars. She loved to spend time with her family, grandchildren and her lifelong friends from Piqua Catholic schools.
A celebration of life service will be held at First Lutheran Church, 2899 W. Main St., Troy, with Pastor Ric Barnes officiating on Friday, June 20, 2014, at 11 a.m.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday.
The family will hold a private burial at their convenience. Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.
