PIQUA — Juanita M. "Nita" Vosler, age 83, of Piqua, Ohio, died at 4:47 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio.
She was born in Piqua, Ohio, on July 23, 1930, to the late William and Helen (Battie) Dill. On June 27, 1948, in Piqua, Ohio, she married Charles A. "Pete" Vosler.
He survives. Juanita is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and April Vosler, Piqua, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Robert Madison, West Lafayette, Indiana, and Debra and Wayne Thompson, Sidney, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Chris and Amy Vosler, Munster, Indiana, Ryan Vosler, Piqua, Ohio, Scott and Julie Madison, Indianapolis, Indiana, Andy and Melissa Madison, Sahuarita, Arizona, Brad and Janelle Thompson, Topeka, Kansas, Shelly and Cameron Kusmierek, Pendleton, Indiana, and Chip and Tyler Thompson, Chicago, Illinois; and 11 great-grandchildren, Charlie and Jacob Vosler, Alana and Aiden Madison, Arianny and Ava Madison, Carter and Miles Thompson, Gabriel, Macallister and Xavier Kusmierek.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Botkins and Leroy Leonard, and one granddaughter, Emily Thompson.
Juanita graduated from Piqua High School in 1948, Piqua, Ohio. She was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother. She loved to read and work in her yard and flower garden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, Ohio, with the Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, Ohio.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
