ANNA — Anna L. Copeland, 61, of 409 E. Main St., Anna, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, at 1:20 p.m. at her home. She was born on April 2, 1953, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Louis Arthur and Maxine May (Trout) Beaver.
On April 19, 1975, she married Ralph J. Copeland, who survives along with four children, John Copeland (Betty), of Sidney, Tina Copeland, Donald Copeland and Alicia (Copeland) Smith (Kirk), all of Anna; four siblings, Diana Copeland (Wayne), of Anna, Jerry Beaver (Sue), of Sidney, Charles Beaver (Debbie), of Lima, and Harold Beaver (Beverly), of Sidney; five grandchildren, Jasmine Bird, of Sidney, Jeantel West, of Fairborn, Kyle Bird, of Columbus, John Copeland II, of Sidney, and Tyler Phillips, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; and three great-grandchildren, Carson Fryman, Ashton Rockwell and Nathan Phillips.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Francis Sniffen.
Mrs. Copeland was a homemaker who spent her time baking for family and friends, and was a caregiver to many. She was a Jehovah's Witness since she was a child.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home & Crematory, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with the Rev. Randy Locker officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
