Obituary Condolences

1944 - 2014

Jeff Davis of Pahrump, NV, born Thomas Jefferson Davis on 16 August 1944 in South Africa, went to be with his Lord and Savior on 14 February 2014.

After serving in the South African military, Jeff met and married Joy, the love of his life. Together with their four children, they came to America in 1980 and settled in Canyon Country, CA.

Jeff was a brilliant example of a true patriarch. As a master diamond cutter, he worked long hours, but never missed sharing dinner with his family at the table every night. Jeff was the greatest promoter and supporter of his family and all their endeavors.

He had a smile and laugh that were both so infectious. He worked hard and diligently, loved deeply and genuinely. He lived and taught by example, and was devoted to his wife Joy whom he adored. Tough as nails and a fierce protector of those he loved, with a heart of gold and the warmest hugs. A true gentle giant who was loved so much.

It has been an honor and privilege to have known you Jeff, you have had a profound impact on my life and have left an indelible mark on my heart. You left a legacy to be proud of. You will be forever missed.

Preceded in death by his daughter Laura Ann. Jeff is survived by his wife Joy, daughter Debbie, sons Thomas and James; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren countless extended family and friends.

Services are at 2:00 p.m. 23 February 2014 at Calvary Chapel, 1051 E. Mickey St., Pahrump, NV 89048.
