She was a lifelong volunteer; an active member of the Assistance League of Santa Clarita, volunteering many hours in the local thrift shop and was previously very active in Burbank Junior Women's Club, Children's Home Society of L.A. and St. Margaret's Episcopal Church thrift store in Palm Desert.

Junerose is survived by her husband of 64 years, David Rolens; her two daughters, Kathleen Freed of Porter, TX and Marjorie (Dennis) Junker of Valencia, CA; her grandchildren, Melanie MacDonald, Kayleen Webb, Scott Junker and Breanne Junker; her three great grandchildren and her sister, Betty Cogswell of Llano, CA.

A memorial service will be held at the Valencia United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Junerose's wish was to have donations be made to her love, The Assistance League of Santa Clarita (661) 255-1991.

Junerose's family wrote, "We are all so blessed to have had this wonderful, positive mother, grandmother and friend. She never entered a room without an incredible, bright smile. She truly made everyday special and you always knew you were loved."
