Dear Nettie, Donna, & Nancy,
My deepest sympathies.
My folks (John & Mary) spoke often of all the wonder times they had together with you Nettie and "Poncho". My dad talked about playing handball with Al at SD High and GoldenHills Rec. Center. Also am I correct that Al was "bestman" at my parents wedding?" Best Wishes to all!

Dear Donna and Family,
My sincere sympathy to all of you in hearing of Mr. Penuelas' passing. I fondly remember his beautiful smile and fun loving spirit during your birthday parties and sleep overs at your house dating back to McKinley School days. They are special memories. My Mom Alta Tonniges, who we lost Dec 26, 2007, also shared a deep affection for all the Penuelas'. I know you will miss him dearly, but pray you will be comforted with all God's richest blessings and your great memories. Judy Tonniges Jenson

Nancy,
Please accept my condolences on the death of your father. I read his obituary this morning in the paper. What a wonderful life he had and what a wonderful person he must have been. No wonder his daughter is still memorable after so many years. May you and your family be blessed with happy memories to ease your sadness.

Dear Nettie and Donna - your words above are so true - I am very glad I knew him - I looked forward to seeing him at the Sr. Talent Show every year and was very sad when Nettie told me he couldn't do it any more. I remember fondly seeing him one last time with you at the Burger Lounge in Kensington. With thoughts and love

Donna,
I read the beautiful tribute to your Dad this morning in the paper. I lost my Dad this year as well so just know that I understand.
Your father's beautiful face and spirit are etched in my memory - he had that twinkle in his eye. It must be where you got yours.
A big hug to you, dear lady.
