ARDYTH COURTNEY-MARSTON Obituary

COURTNEY-MARSTON, ARDYTH BLANCHE Quite suddenly, Ardyth Blanche Courtney-Marston took ill, and then shortly after, was called home to be with Christ. With her family gathered, she passed peacefully into God's hands. Ardyth was born and raised in the greater Detroit, Michigan area. She graduated from Cass Tech H.S., married, and raised four children. In 1981 she moved to California, remarried, and started Acacia Realty in Rancho Santa Fe. Over her 25 year career she also worked for Willis Allen and Rancho Santa Fe Properties, now Prudential California Realty. She was an active member and former president of the Business & Professional Woman's Association. Ardyth enjoyed life, reading, crossword puzzles, music, tennis, the TV program Jeopardy, her church, and time with her family. She is survived by the families of her four children, Peggy, Jerry and Kelli, Kurtis and Donna, and Erich and Lisa, and their children Erica, Tara, and Cameron Lau. We will dearly miss our loving, "bigger than life" mother.

To Ardyth's Family- We were so saddened to hear of her passing. My husband and I met Charlie and Ardyth about 15 years ago playing tennis at Lomas Santa Fe CC. We had a lot of fun and competitive matches and grew very fond of both of them. Our friendship extended off the court with many fun and lively dinners. We continued to keep in touch with Ardyth after Charlies's passing and always looked forward to hearing from her at the holidays. She was a stylish, witty, smart woman who we were privilged to know.
