ALDRIDGE, BETTY JEAN December 22, 1928 to Sept. 6, 2010 Betty Jean (Love) Aldridge was born in Chicago and grew up in Brookfield, Illinois. Betty met her husband, Seth, in 1949 at Purdue University, where she graduated from the School of Science in 1950. Betty and Seth were married in 1952. After Seth finished his education and service in the Navy in 1954, the couple lived in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1957 they moved to San Diego where the couple has since resided. Betty and Seth have three daughters, Marta (Clark), Lynn (Wells) and Lisa (Winlock). When the girls went off to college, Betty worked as an accountant at Deltec, a small electronics company. I was so sorry to read about Betty's death. I remember her on Yost Circle when I was growing up. She was always cheerful and welcoming. I know that my mother enjoyed having her as a neighbor. I'm truly glad to know that she has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior.

Betty was a galant lady, and a dear friend. She was very generous with her time and talents for her family and for pursuing many paths of service at Christ Lutheran Church.
Joanne and I send our sincere condolences to Seth and his family.
