I am from Switzerland and I lived three months with Bob and Judi in spring 1995, when I went to an English school in San Diego. Every morning Bob lovingly prepared the breakfast, he peeled and cored the fruits for the breaks in school, he prepared delicious meals... He was always there and helped the students with words and deeds. Bob was the best hostdad you can wish.
Dear Judi, I can imagine, how much you miss him. I am thinking of you.

Judi, Bob's strong spirit and commitment to fight the good fight was a great inspiration to everyone who met him. The wisdom he shared so generously will stay with us for our lifetimes. I hope that knowing how fortunate you both were to be each other's life-partners will help you stay strong through this tough time.

The San Diego Chapter of Veterans For Peace will be observing a moment of silence at our October 5th monthly meeting to remember Bob and all of his contributions to peace. We all miss Bob and his smiling face at our events. I can still see Bob riding high up in our borrowed convertible at the last Veterans Day Parade that he was with us.

What a great memorial. I did not know Bob very long but I knew right away he was a great Man and would have been a dear friend. Judy, I know you loved Bob with all you had to give and you know that I have a big shoulder for you to cry on or just vent. Hang in there Lady, you are doing just great.
