DELMAR G. CARLSON

CARLSON, DELMAR G. Delmar Gordon Carlson died at the age of 78 on November 7, 2010 in San Diego, California. He was born in Richland, Kansas on January 14, 1932. At 10 years old, he and his family moved to California and settled in San Diego. He graduated from Hoover High School in 1950 and then joined the Army to serve in Korea for two years. He received a degree in Industrial Engineering from San Diego State University in 1957. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley; his daughter, Laura, and her husband Chris and their daughter, Natalie, of San Diego; his son, Eric, and his wife Carol and their son, Sean, of San Diego; and his son, Phil, and his wife Cathy and their children, Chloe and Hannah, of Phoenix. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mona Fay and Clyde Carlson, and his sister, Dolores Palmer. Services will be held at Palisades Presbyterian Church on Friday, November 12th, at 11:00 a.m. The Church is located at 6301 Birchwood Street. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Country Villa at La Mesa.
