I just loved Aunt Eleanor's southern accent. She was a great aunt and a great lady. Arlene Lindgren, Maricopa, Az.

Eleanor, all of my memories of you are fond ones. You always found a reason to laugh about everything, even the bad stuff!(Sharon and I starting fires at the house, running away to Marions when we were three and four, farting in the middle of church service!)You loved us no matter what and I always loved being your neighbor. I'm sure the Good Lord will find you as unique and entertaining as I always have and just know that you were loved by a good many people! Lots of love and prayers for you and your family.

All my respect to a woman who successfully raised three wonderful daughters, and gave her all to her special needs son. They will all miss her dearly.

I will always remember how kind Aunt Eleanor was to me when I visited all the family in California and the barbecue dinner she cooked for me. She made me feel very loved and honored and welcomed. I also remember how she doted on her pets -- I think she was a big softie inside. I am so very glad I got to know her and I shall always miss her.

Mom, you were a unique human being who taught us compassion, caring and humility. You were loved more than you probably knew, but I think in the last few years that became very clear to you how much you were loved. You had the sharpest memory, even at the end, remembering every date and name. Who am I going to go to now for that knowledge? It will be gone forever. I'll always take care of Roger and we will always remember you with love and humor.

Mom, our lives will never be the same with you gone. We are so grateful that we could fullfill your wish of staying in your own home. That is what you wanted and that is what you got. You died in your own bedroom surrounded by Sharon, Lisa and me holding your hands and sending you off with love. You are in God's hands now. I love you!!

Everyone whose path you cross adds something to your life. I was fortunate enough to have met Eleanore when I was 3 years old and grew up and remained close with my BFF lisa. Marion, Sharon, lisa and Roger have always been a part of my life, and I have both Ralph and Eleanore to thank for that.I have great memories growing up 3 doors down. Eleanore will most definatly be forever remembered.
