ELISA TORRES "NANAY" GALANG

GALANG, ELISA "NANAY" TORRES Elisa "Nanay" Torres Galang, 92, of Bulacan, Philippines and Chula Vista, California, peacefully joined her Creator last November 27, 2010. Nanay is survived by her husband Jaime; children Norma, Juanita, Rogelio, Erlinda, Eduardo, Julieta, Ricardo, and Lilian; in-laws Ernesto, Dahlia, and Marie; grandchildren Joer, Joan, Jet; Jackie, Joy, Jenny; Kyle, Kody, and Maricar, Melissa, Michelle, Charles, and great-grandchildren. Nanay will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by people whose lives she had touched during her lifetime. They would certainly recall how she had brought cheers and happiness in the hearts of many. "No mean bone" in her body would aptly describe a life well-lived, fulfilling her mission of destiny after having faithfully served God, family and humanity. In life and in death, kind-hearted Nanay cast a giant shadow over her legacies of deep and unconditional love for her family, unselfish deeds towards others, sincerity and purity of intention. Nanay may be gone to the Great Beyond, but memories of her genuine affection and concern will forever live in the hearts of those she had left behind, more particularly her family who would miss her loving presence, not only today but always. Family is requesting relatives and friends to pray for her eternal repose. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to Breast Cancer Society. Viewing at the Chapel of the Roses, Glen Abbey Memorial Park on December 1, 2010, 5-9 p.m. Interment on December 2nd, at Glen Abbey at 10 a.m.
