ERNEST KAMINSKI Obituary

KAMINSKI, ERNEST P. August 19, 1925 to Sept. 29, 2010 "Ski" is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Consuelo Kaminski, and by children Michael and wife Jackie of Bonita, Patricia and husband Edward of La Mesa, Lindia and husband Michael of El Cajon, Brenda and husband Wayne of Julian, seven grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, and was predeceased by one son, Ernest Joseph. Ski will be greatly missed by all family and friends. Dad and Papa Ski, we love you and will be forever in our hearts. Church services will be held on October 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Julian. Reception to follow at American Legion Post 468. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to S.D. Hospice C/O Kaminski Family P.O. Box 3739 La Mesa, CA 91944.

Sorry to hear of Ski's passing. I had many pleasant memories of the Easter gatherings at Jackie and Michael's home. Ski leaves behind a fine legacy in his family. Condolences from Cheri as welll.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Ski was truly one of a kind. My first day at Western Tile I was instructed to follow him around and learn the trade. He took me under his wing and away we went... Some of my fondest memories are of all those years we spent working and laughing side by side. He was my mentor, he was my friend and he was a good man.
