Ann & Family: Thank you for the perfect service in memory of Gene. I wouldn't have missed it! I'm supposed to extend good wishes for persons who could not attend the service: Amy & Dan are in Colorado with Steven, Sue Ramirez & Dan (Lawrence & Betty's daughter) are in Hawaii, Lawrence & Betty weren't up for the trip from Apple Valley, my friends from High School, Pat Mesa & Mary Ann Gress, Tom & Betty, who are traveling, I think that's all of them. Love from Barbara

Ann, Denise & John, Mark & Lilli and Danny & Cris:

Your loss is overwhelming, and our hearts and loving thoughts are with you and your extended families. It was wonderful to see all of you at the Memorial Service and reception.

I've known Gene from age 10 and his life, and death, affected everyone he touched. As Lilli's sister, holidays and events at the 'out-laws' (our families) which included Ann and Gene were cause for celebration. His humor and wisdom was sought, and golf stories legendary. There was competition, always courteous but serious, to be seated next to him at meals. I remember a holiday dinner, at my own home (with place cards!) where Gene was seated between Ann and I. After everyone was served, I returned to the table to find my seat taken and a new card in the holder. This wasn't the first time.

He was loved and admired by all and we will truly miss him. Godspeed to you, Gene.

Love, Lorna, Doug, Nikki and Vince

Just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We will all miss him, but I take comfort in visualizing he, my Dad and Uncle Jerry together telling tall tales about all their golf games. Love, Teri (Alexander) and Byron Belcher

Our dear Uncle Gene. The last time I talked with him about his illness we agreed that it's not so bad when you know where you are going after you leave this place. He has always been my inspiration and was particularily important to me since my dad died when I was young. We thank him and Ann for giving us Denise, Mark, and Danny. We will miss him. Our love to the whole family.

Even though I haven't seen Uncle Gene for a long time, I remember him fondly. He will have fun with my Dad, Uncle Bernard and others who are in eternal bliss. Love, Nan Bulish (Nancy Baum)and Family
