FLORENCE CUMMINS Obituary

CUMMINS, FLORENCE L. Sept. 19, 1922 to Oct. 12, 2010 Flo passed away quietly at home, with her family at her bedside. She is survived by two daughters Sherry Walker and Peggy Checchi, one granddaughter and two great-grandsons. She moved to the San Diego area at an early age from South Dakota. A proud graduate of Hoover High School, she married her childhood sweetheart, Paul Q. Cummins, 68 years ago. She worked at Fed Co as an office manager for ten years, then left to do volunteer work, the Home of Guiding Hands being closest to her heart. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Graveside services will be held at El Cajon Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on October 22, 2010.

Remembering the days while growing up, as Peggy and I grew up together in San Diego. My folks and I lived across the street from Peggy's grandparents, and we spent allot of time together.

Hey Grams...
Here we go again.....
I want to say "Thanks for our personal visits the last two days I spent with you. They meant alot.
Our own personal visit & words will never be forgotten :
"the pink-butterflies under the moonlight dancing"....no one will ever know what that means but us. Thanks for the very precious memories...
