FLOYD L. DISHMAN

DISHMAN, FLOYD L. Floyd L. Dishman, age 93, a resident of San Diego, passed away September 17, 2010, in a local hospital. He was born in Headrick, Okla., on August 26, 1917, the son of William and Terri Dishman. His wife Millie Dishman preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter Wanda Petree of Nipomo, Ca., and son Keith Dishman of San Diego. He had three grandchildren, Cheyenne Dishman of San Diego, Nancy Dunn of Texas and Billy Don Petree Jr. of Nipomo, Ca. He also had two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Katelyn Petree. Mr. Dishman moved to Brawley, Ca., in 1939 where he last worked for the Imperial Ice Co. He served in the Marine Corp during World War II in China. He moved to San Diego in 1952 where he worked at Ryan's Defense plant till 1962 and worked for International Harvester / Caterpillar until he retired in 1985. He deeply loved his family, friends and pets. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed his special board meetings at Denny's with his pals.
