FRANK BAXTED Obituary

BAXTED, FRANK H. Dec. 2, 1927 to Sept. 6, 2010 Frank served proudly in the U.S. Navy and worked 39 years in telecommunications for Pacific Bell. He is survived by is wife, Jackie; brother, George; daughters, Mary (Steve Auerbach); Laura (Ron Huggins), Patty, and sons, Blake and Michael; five grandchildren, Christopher and Marissa (Auerbach), Dani, Holly, Cozy (Huggins). He was preceded in death by one daughter Michelle. Honor Guard ceremony will be on Friday, October 15th, at 2 p.m. (arrive 1/2 hour early) at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at his home. Dress is casual in Frank's honor. No flowers please, the family requests donations to San Diego Zoo, P.O. Box 120551, San Diego, CA 92112.

Jackie, I was saddened to hear that he is passed away, but take refuge in the fact that "absent from the body, present with the Lord// Glad to see that so many people showed up/ I worked for him as a en engineering aid, late eighties to early nineties, along with Susy, which was glad to see last friday. May you find confort and joy as you remember all sweet memories, as I do with my own husband gone n 2003. God bless you! Susana Cabello

Dear Jackie....I have several good memories of Frank. I will never forget his laugh. He always had a smile on his face, and he was alot of fun to be around. Your Wedding was absolutely beautiful.
