Dear Marta,
I am so sorry for your loss. Sitting at your wedding, I remember how happy you were that day and it is evident that Jeff was an incredible husband, Father, and friend to many. You and I had gone through so much together as young kids and to see how far you had come with such a wonderful man and now, your wonderful children, it was enlightening. Marta, I can not imagine what you are going through, I only want you to know, I am here if you need anything and would love to be there for you and the kids. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I will always love you. Your friend, Leslie

Thank you for publishing a complete obituary for Jeff to let us know what happened. Knowing him through both the Tumbleweed Riding Club and Southwest Pinto, his energy level, his great outlook, it is a total surprise. I remember his quick smile and laugh, especially when hearing good jokes. He was so full of life that at least now we know what it was that cut it short so fast.
I hear it so often on television shows that it sounds like a cliche, but here it is really important and meaningful to say this: I am so sorry for your loss, not just to his family but his friends and co-workers.
You chose a great photo of Jeff - so much like we remember him at the horse shows.
Thank you for sharing him with us,

To Marta and the Scheidel children,
I first met Jeff while working with the Southwest Pinto Club and out at Tumbleweed. It was because of his hard work, tenacity and forward thinking with Carol Albino that Southwest Pinto moved itself into the limelight for many years. He continued to support me when I took over the reins as President and allowed the legacy he had helped to create to flourish.
He was also a patient of mine and a friend of great value. I will miss his presence and especially his infectious laugh and smile which captured any room he was in. He truly was a man of his word in a world full of pretenders. It is an honor and pleasure to say that I knew Jeff Scheidel as a friend.
May God bring you comfort and peace during this time of sorrow.

Jeff will forever hold a place in our hearts as he was always warm and welcoming. He was an intelligent, wise and passionate man. Although he will be greatly missed, we are grateful we had the opportunity for his life to touch our own. We wish Jeff peace and happiness as he enters the house of the Lord.

Dear Family and Friends of Jeff,
Jeff was my "knight in shining armor" riding a bulldozer. He brought to life my dream horse property on Rio Maria Road. 12 years and a fire after Jeff graded my arena, I have no puddles and the base holds firm. The areas he helped landscape are flourishing. We'll miss him terribly. Our deepest condolences,
