JIM DECK Obituary

DECK, JIM July 2, 1937 to Sept. 9, 2010 Jim Deck was born in Silver City, New Mexico. He served in the Navy from 1955 to 1958. He was employed as a journeyman mechanic for the S.D. Post Office and other privately owned shops. He owned his own transmission shop for 13 years. He also enjoyed his work as an automatic transmission instructor. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandy, three children, Debbie, Charles, and Margie; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service at El Cajon Mortuary, 684 S. Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020, on Friday, September 24th, at 10:00 a.m. Please make donations to Sharp Hospice in lieu of flowers.

"Uncle Jim" you have gave me a lot of memories on Sparling St. with all the BBQ's with family and friends and getting trouble in the back yard. I always enjoyed going to the shop with all the Hot Rods you worked on and I would sometimes see them in the Car Magazines. Thanks for all your advise thru the years you'll be missed. Tim.

Uncle Jim what can I say...you will always be the best! I have always adored you and all your wisdom. I have great memories of you and will never forget all the fun I spend with you growing up! You will have a special place in my heart and I will truly miss you. Love you lots!

Uncle Jim you have filled my life with long time memories. You truly touched mine and my familes life over the years and I am just glad we were able to share in many special occasions.
