JOSEPH J. SPINALI

SPINALI, JOSEPH J. Joseph J. Spinali, 90, passed away on September 27, 2010, surrounded by his family, after a valiant battle with cancer. Jose's passions were many: foremost, his love of his wife and their beautiful marriage of 61 years. Joe met married Frances Anna Faraci in San Diego in 1949. Joe was born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 2, 1920 and moved to San Diego in 1961. Joe served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific theater. Joe was involved in many business ventures over the years, with his brothers and sisters, from drug stores to clothing stores but making music was his passion. He was a master musician on the drums and entertained thousands of music loves over many decades. Services will be held on Friday October 1, 2010, at 2 p.m. Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary located on 4300 Imperial Ave. San Diego, CA 92113. Followed by a celebration of life at 1858 Hilsdale Rd., El Cajon. Joe is survived by his wife Frances, his brothers: Dominic, Salvatore (Bernadine), his children: Peter (Sheryl), Joseph (Martha), Frank (Linda), Richard (Barbara), Anthony, six grandchildren: Jenna, Jodie (Dave), Jerome, Frank, Tsu, and their mother Tracy, Jennifer, and great-grandchild: Daphne.
