Judith dedicated her life to her children, family and friends. She loved life and had a profound impact on the lives of many people. Her infectious and fiery spark, her compassion, her enthusiasm for learning, travel and knowledge, her acceptance and love of humankind, her unwavering support and loyalty to all that were lucky enough to have been in her circle - these are just a few examples of the generous and rich traits Judy had in abundance. Judith graduated from Mills College and went on earn her law degree from the University of San Francisco Law School. True to her nature, Judith practiced poverty law as a Civilian Counsel for the U.S. Navy. Judy taught us all many valuable life lessons but her parting words were impactful and strong. She stressed the importance of finding love, making the world a better place and working hard. She knew her beloved sons would make a difference in this world. She was a beautiful, intelligent, savvy, fiercely loyal, generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who possessed a zest for life. She will be dearly missed and the world will not be the same without her presence. A celebration of her life will be held in the coming weeks to honor the spirit and vivacious life of Judith. A private burial will take place in Grass Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to San Diego Hospice.
